No. Every tool on Werkr processes your files entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files and data never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. The only exceptions are network tools (DNS lookup, SSL checker, IP lookup) which make outbound API requests by their nature.
Yes. After your first visit, Werkr installs a service worker that caches the app locally. Most tools will continue to work without an internet connection. Network-dependent tools (DNS, SSL, IP lookup, WHOIS) require connectivity.
Werkr is completely free with no premium tier. The site is supported by non-intrusive display ads via Google AdSense. There are no paywalls, file size limits, or features locked behind a subscription.
